CurveChecker Privacy Policy
Last updated: Jul 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Energy Risk and Claims Consulting LLC ("CurveChecker," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the CurveChecker website at curvechecker.com and the CurveChecker report service (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information you provide: your name, email address, company, and login credentials.
- Submission content: the fire pump test reports, test data, documents, and photos you upload, and any notes you add.
- Usage information: basic technical data such as log data and device/browser information, used to operate and secure the Service.
- Payment information: when you pay, your card details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- create and manage your account and authenticate you;
- read and analyze your submitted test report and produce your One-Pager;
- communicate with you about your submissions and the Service, including notifying you when a report is ready;
- process payments;
- maintain the security and integrity of the Service; and
- create and use de-identified, aggregated data (which does not identify you, your customer, or any facility or site) to operate, evaluate, improve, and benchmark the Service.
3. AI-assisted processing
To read and extract data from your uploaded test reports, and to produce the charts, calculations, and observations in your One-Pager, we use automated and AI-assisted tools, including third-party AI processing providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Your submissions are not used to train third-party AI models.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information or your identifiable submission content. We share information only:
- with service providers who help us operate the Service — for example, website/app hosting, database and file storage, payment processing, and AI processing — under contracts that require them to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us;
- at your direction, such as when you ask us to send a One-Pager somewhere;
- for legal reasons, when required by law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of CurveChecker or others; and
- in a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy.
5. De-identified and aggregated data
We may create de-identified and aggregated data from submissions — for example, pump performance statistics with no identifying facility, owner, or contractor information — and use and retain it indefinitely for any lawful business purpose, including improving our analysis and building industry benchmarks. This data does not identify you, your customer, or any specific facility or site.
6. Data retention
We retain your account information, submission content, and delivered One-Pagers for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated submission content as described in Section 8.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls that limit each customer's records to that customer. Delivered files are served from unlisted, unguessable links. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You may access and update your account information by signing in. You may request a copy or deletion of your personal information and submission content by emailing us at the address below; we will respond consistent with applicable law. Note that we may retain de-identified and aggregated data as described in Section 5.
9. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to sign you in and operate the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect functionality.
10. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
